Hello May!!

I can't believe it's already May! well half way through May... June will be here before I know it! I'm kinda looking forward to June because Liam & I will be going on an adventure! But not looking forward to it either, because it just means that my baby's going to be turning 2! :(  Where has the time gone?!

May has been super busy for me so far. My weekends has been filled with photo shoots, and my week days are filled with late night editings and trying to keep up with my very energetic toddler lol. I'm loving it though!!

This month started out great.. my boys spoiled me with a weekend full of love for Mother's Day. I'm so lucky to have my two men in my life. So thankful for them!

Here lately, it's been stormy and rainy almost every day so Liam hasn't been able to enjoy the outdoors much. But we still make the best of it by doing fun stuff inside =)

A couple weeks ago I did a photoshoot for my friend's son, who was turning 1. We did a hot air balloon themed birthday shoot. After her shoot was over, since I had Liam with me, I decided to put him in the hot air balloon basket and take some shots of him too. It turned out so cute! I love it!! Thinking about printing it out real big and framing it.... but where would I put it... hmm.. I need more space in our house!!! lol Here are some shots from that day! Oh as I mentioned above, Liam & I are going on an adventure in June! =) By adventure, I mean he will be going on his very first plane ride!! I'm super nervous about it, but I'm also excited for him to experience his first trip on an airplane! I wish Jason was able to join us, but since he's saving up his leave for our end of the year trip he won't be able to come with us. We're going back home to GA to visit our families and I cannot wait!! Only a couple more weeks in our countdown =) Although we will miss daddy very much while we're gone, I'm excited to see my family and for Liam to spend time with his grandparents. And of course, I'm excited to see all my GA friends as well ;)

Today we decided to turn Liam's crib into a big boy bed.... it's been a long time coming! We've been meaning to do it for awhile now, but just never got around to it.. we're the worst procrastinators lol. But maybe partly because I didn't want to face the reality that my baby isn't a baby anymore =( Some days it amazes me how big and smart he is getting. He's growing into such a handsome, wonderful, smart, independent little boy.

Tonight is his first night sleeping in it without the rails... so far so good. I'm super nervous he's going to roll off!! lol I put pillows on the ground just in case he does roll off haha. My sweet baby is all grown! =( I'm not ready for this! 

Tonight for dinner, Liam tried crab legs for the first time and he loved it =) He also had a slice of watermelon afterwards and loved that too! He's had watermelon before.. maybe when he was like 8 or 9 months old, but he doesn't remember that lol. He def. enjoyed it tonight though. 

Of course I had to give my fur baby some too ;)

Next weekend is a 4 day weekend for hubs so hopefully the weather will be nice and sunny so that we can get outside and do some hiking or something. =) Until then!
