Catching up!!

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in like a month!! >.<  We're still alive and well! lol Just have had a lot of things going on lately that have kept me busy for most of July. Then Jason recently switched shifts at work so we are slowly trying to adjust to a new schedule.

Let me catch you up on what's been going on this past month. Some of my sweet friends gave birth to their sweet babies this past month, and I was honored enough to be able to capture some newborn pictures for them. This was the first time I've done a newborn shoot, and I absolutely loved it!! Seeing all the sweet little babies gave me baby fever, but before anyone get too excited, nope we are NOT having another baby anytime soon :D

Here are some sneak peek at the newborn sessions that I did a couple weeks ago. I've been asked many times if I'm going to make this into a business, and honestly, I've been thinking about it a lot lately. But it probably won't happen anytime soon. I still need to work up my portfolio and I want to get better lens for my camera as well. But maybe one day =) I'll keep ya posted ;)

These next couple pics are from a 3 month old session I did for my friend Esther. Isn't her baby a hunk?? So handsome!! 

In other news, we got Liam's 1 year pics back from our photographer and I absolutely love them!! I will post them in a separate post later. =) Updates on Liam... we took him to the pool for the first time last month, he had a blast!! we went to the zoo... which I still think he doesn't really care much for it lol. He got some new toys!! We bought him a little play house and a slide! He loves going down the slide and playing in his playhouse. I can't wait till the weather cool down some more so we can let him play out there longer. He still absolutely loves reading. Someone from Jason's shop actually gave us a bag full of books for Liam the other day. I think we've almost read through them all lol. He took his first trip to the library and loved seeing all the books there! He got his first of many boo boos :( He made his first art masterpiece!! And found a new love for smoothies. lol. My little baby has grown up so much in the past month!! It's crazy! Time needs to really slow down!

As for me, I've started couponing again!! woohoo! I've missed it! =D Jason, not so much. haha He hates going couponing with me. I need to find myself a couponing buddy ;) I also baked my very first apple pie the other day and it did not burn or turn into a brick so I'm very proud of myself lol. I will try to keep yall posted more often. but again... that's not a promise as you can see what happened last time ;)
