Liam's Dino-Mite 2nd Birthday Party!!

We celebrated Liam's 2nd birthday this past weekend with a dino themed party! It was perfect timing too since Jurassic World just came out so there were tons and tons of dinosaur decorations everywhere! Last year we hosted his birthday party at our house... outside... and since his birthday is in the middle of June, it was pretty hot out! lol. So this year we decided to rent out a little playroom on base and have it there. Which was so much better since we were able to be indoors and it was nice and cool. Plus there was a little playground in there that kept all the kids occupied while us adults socialized =)

It's hard trying to get a bunch of kiddos to look at the camera lol but aren't they all the cutest?!

He had a blast opening all of his presents. He was amazed with each and every one of them lol. It was hard to get him to move onto the next one.

Liam Turns TWO!!!

Last tuesday, our little baby boy turned two years old. Is this real life?! Where has the time gone?! I still can't believe that he is already TWO!! It seems like it was only yesterday that we were on our way to the hospital, not knowing that I was actually going to give birth that day... and now here we are, with a two year old on our hands.

Happy birthday sweet little Liam! Mommy & Daddy loves you more than you'll ever know! We are so blessed to be your parents. And we are so proud of how much you've grown and learned in the past year. Every day you amaze us more with how much you know and how fast you catch on to everything! You are the smartest little boy ever!!

This post is a week late because I was waiting until after his 2 year check up so I have all his stats up to date =) We just had his check up today so here are so stats of our growing boy! No shots at this check up so that was good =) 

• Height: He is 35 inches tall (in the 75th percentile)
• Weight: He weighs 25lbs (25th-50th percentile)
• He has 12 teeth.

Favorite Foods: Chicken, cheese, bread, fruits, yogurt

Favorite Activities: Playing outside, taking baths, coloring, bouncing on daddy, blowing bubbles, riding the dog (lol), singing, dancing, running in circles, going on walks

Least Favorite Activities: Diaper changes, being told no

Overall, he's a very healthy, happy, smart little boy!! =)

Bye Bye Baby Curls...

Liam had his first official "real" haircut today! I trimmed his hair once, when he turned 1 last year, but other than that I haven't really done much to it. Well it was starting to get super long again, so we decided it was time for him to get a big boy haircut since he will be turning 2 in a couple of weeks! (still in denial of that). 

Anyways, we took him to the salon today and he did so well during his haircut! I was surprised he actually sat still for as long as he did haha. He did get a little antsy after awhile being in the chair, so we put him on the ground so that he could play with some toys and our hairstylist finished his hair down there. She did such a wonderful job with him.

And here's the after! =) He doesn't look like my little baby anymore, but more of a big boy now. Such a bittersweet moment! I miss my tiny little baby, but I'm so happy to see him grow into such a handsome little toddler.

Now we only have a few days left before he gets to go on his very first plane ride!! I'm so excited for him!! lol. Then by the time we get back from our trip, he will be turning TWO!! I can't deal! lol. time needs to slow down just a bit!
