Dreaming of Spring

The past couple of days have been absolutely beautiful! We've been hit with a bit of warm weather, and we def. made sure to take advantage of it while it was here. We went on long walks, took Liam to the park numerous times, and just took time to enjoy being outside. I hate being cooped up inside the house because of cold weather. This brief period of warm weather made me super excited for spring to come! I'm ready for the warm weather to stay permanently.

My friend Esther ended up showing up at the park while we were there. I'm glad they did because Liam had so much fun running around with Emma, copying everything she was doing lol. He loved going down the big kid slide with her while she held his hand.

He loves saying cheese for the camera :)

I am seriously so amazed at all the new things Liam has been learning lately. He is catching on to things so quickly and it makes me so happy to watch him learn and grow. He's been "talking" like crazyyyy lately! He will just sit there and have conversations with his toys. It is absolutely the cutest thing I've ever seen. I love this stage that he's in. I think it's so much fun! I especially love when I ask him questions and he actually answers me. It's weird to know that he actually comprehends what I'm asking or saying to him. My little baby is growing up so fast.

Has to carry his Mickey everywhere he goes =)

When we do end up being stuck inside, Liam usually spends that time torturing our poor fur baby lol. He loves playing with her, but she is terrified of him haha. They get along great though. Whether she'd admit it or not, she loves playing with him too ;)

Of course in between play time, you gotta stop and take a little snack break while watching Peppa Pig. =)

In other news, I finally found some time to take my sewing machine out of its box and play with it a little! I'm so excited about it! My wonderful MIL got it for me for xmas and I haven't had a chance to play with it until now. I've been looking for a table runner for our coffee bar area for awhile now and since our table isn't that long (it's actually a desk converted into a coffee bar), I can never find the perfect length runner for it. So the other day, while at hobby lobby, I decided to pick up some fabric and make my own. This is the result. It is far from perfect, and I have a lot more learning to do, but I'm loving it! =)

Sewing is so much fun! I have so many projects in mind that I want to do now! Time to hit hobby lobby, or JoAnn's again! =) PS- jason wanted me to make him some pants... haha I'm not too sure about that, but we shall see! lol

**Edit**
I forgot to post these precious pics of Liam. He has a new found love for hats now. He used to absolutely hate anything on his head so we would have to buy winter hats that had a little buckle under the chin so that he couldn't take it off. But he's been wearing this cute little hat around the past couple of days without complaining. The only catch is, HE has to be the one that puts it on himself. If Jason or I try, he would get mad and take it off lol.

He also found his elephant that my friend Katy sent him when he was first born. It's been sitting on his bookshelf in his room, but he saw it the other day and wanted it. Jason gave it to him and he has been carrying it everywhere with him. It's so freaking adorable because that elephant looks so big compared to him lol. He absolutely loves it though!

Exciting News!

Hey everyone! So I last left you in my previous post about some exciting news that I wanted to share with you all. Well here it is.... I've decided to start up my photography business this year!! =) I was on the fence about it for awhile, but with the encouragements from my family and friends, I decided it was time to do so. And I'm sooooo extremely excited about it! Photography has always been a passion of mine for oh so long now and I'm excited to take it to the next level. If you would like to see my work or to even schedule a session with me (If you're in the central arkansas area), please feel free to check out my facebook page. I will link it down before.

In other news, I decided to chop my hair off again :) Last year, I cut off 14 inches to donate and that was the shortest I've ever had my hair.

I was going to grow it out to do it again, but I was itching to have it short so I decided to just go ahead and cut it. I didn't go that short this time though.

So far I'm loving it =) I'm so happy to have found a hair stylist that I like here in Arkansas. If you ever need a haircut or anything else, check out Salon Innovations . My stylist's name is Jess, but I'm sure everyone there is great! =) They have a fb page too so make sure to check them out.

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

Oh my! The holidays have me so far behind in updating this blog. I have so much to update you guys on but I will try to keep this short and sweet =) I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year!

Christmas this year was so much fun since Liam was old enough to be able to open his presents and get excited about them! =) Plus he wasn't sick like he was last year. My MIL flew in and spent Christmas with our family here in Arkansas. Jason had the week of Christmas off so we spent it doing some last minute shopping, looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights, and just spending time with each other.

Lets also not forget about all the yummy foods that comes along with the holidays :)

My lil man is so handsome ^_^

We also were able to celebrate christmas with our friends before everyone went out of town for the holiday or have family come to town. We did an ugly Christmas party and had so much fun! I seriously have the best of friends!

We rang in the new year at home with just our little family =) Liam actually stayed all the way up till midnight and watched the ball dropped with us. We toasted to the new year and I got the best new years kiss from my two favorite men <3 I couldn't have asked for a better way to ring in another wonderful year.

2014 was a wonderful year full of amazing memories! I'm so excited to see what 2015 brings! There's lots of exciting news that I can't wait to share with everyone, but I will wait until my next post for that =) and no, im NOT pregnant if anyone was thinking that lol. I will leave you with this picture of my gorgeous family <3

Hope everyone enjoyed their New Year!
