Ok, I know I'm a little late, but I just now have some free time to update yall about our awesome 4 day weekend this past Labor Day! My MIL came into town to spend it with us. So thankful that we had beautiful weather all weekend (the forecast was for rain all weekend). We had a fun, eventful weekend planned for her visit so it would've been disappointing if it rained.
She flew in that Thursday and unfortunately, her airline lost her luggage so we spent that first day/night calling people trying to figure out where it could be, and also going to the store to grab her a couple of things to get her by for that first night. Thankfully they found her luggage the next day and we were able to go to the airport to pick it up!
Friday, we spent the day in Hot Springs. We grabbed some lunch, then stopped by Fat Bottomed Girl's Cupcakes to grab a dessert =) They have the best homemade cupcakes! Then we walked around downtown a little.

| Liam loves being able to walk around. He is just like his daddy and cannot stand sitting still in his stroller lol |
Then we went over to Garvan Gardens so that my MIL could see Anthony Chapel and visit the Mystic Creatures exhibit that they had going on that weekend.

| Liam had a blast feeding the fishies with daddy, even though he wanted to jump into the water the whole time. This boy is def. a water baby for sure! |
The sceneries at the garden were beautiful!
After our hike through the garden, we headed back to Little Rock to visit the Chihuly exhibit at the Clinton Library! Chihuly is one of my absolute favorite artists! He work just amazes me! I wish they had more of his artwork there, but what they did have were beautiful as always. His artwork will be on display at the Clinton Library in Little Rock until Jan 2015 so if you happen to be in Little Rock, or you're from this area, you should def. check it out!
Our day ended with a trip to a pretty neat restaurant in dt Little Rock. It's called All Aboard. It's a fun little restaurant that serves it's food in a unique way ---- on a choo choo train! =) You order your food at the front and then they hand you a key, which you stick into your "engine" when you sit down at your table. There is a train track that goes around the top of the restaurant. When your food is ready, the train brings it out to you. Liam had a blast watching the train drive around and around :)
Saturday was spent mostly at home watching the GA Bulldogs (our awesome football team if you dont already know ^_^ ) beat up on Clemson. It was a very intense and stressful game but we pulled away with a WIN so thats all that matters ;)
The rest of the weekend was spent hanging out and just relaxing =)
I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend as well!
