11 Months Old!!

Our sweet baby boy just turned 11 months old  last Friday!!! Time really need to slow down a bit! He will be one before we know it!!

Memorial Day Weekend!

We had a very eventful 5 day (yes, 5 whole days with hubs!!) weekend! ^_^ I'm so glad that he got this time to relax and hang out with us. He's been working so hard at work lately so it was nice having him home for 5 whole days. On Thursday, we went to his squadron picnic down by the base lake. It was the 2nd time we've been to it since we've moved here. We went the first year we were here, but skipped last year bc I was super preggo and it was so hot outside that I didn't want to be out in it. lol  It was still super hot this year too. I was sweating to death 10 mins after we got there lol. But I think Liam enjoyed himself. He loves being outside. I can't believe that this time next year when we go, he will be running around all by himself =O

Friday, I spent the day shopping with my sweet friend Shaira, since our husbands decided to spend the day fishing. Then we went over to our friend Esther's house later that evening for dinner & yummy desserts for her birthday!! =) 

Saturday was an adventure! We decided to make a trip to Hot Springs, a nearby town that we've been wanting to visit for awhile now. We stopped at an alligator farm first and I even held a baby alligator! Liam got to feed some goats and deer, and he even petted the baby alligator. I swear, this boy isn't scared of anything (well with the exceptions of strangers lol). 

Had to stop at Chick-fil-a first to have lunch and share an ice cream cone with daddy ^_^

Next, we went to the Hot Springs mountain tower. We decided not to go up the tower since it was opened air and we didn't want Liam to get all that wind (secretly its bc momma was scared to be outside up there lol). But we did get to get some pretty views from the bottom of the tower.

After that, we went to the Garvan Woodland Gardens. There's this beautiful chapel there that I've been dying to visit ever since I saw it on Pinterest ^_^ It's called the Anthony Chapel. It's absolutely gorgeous. These pics do not do it any justice! If you ever get a chance to visit Hot Springs, AR it's def a must to go see this beautiful chapel in person. I wish I had brought my Nikon with me on this trip, but we left in a hurry that morning so I totally forgot it. These iphone pics will just have to do =)

The rest of the weekend was spent relaxing at home =) Hubs finished building my ladder shelf!! I'm so proud of all his hard work. This was his first big project (of many more to come im sure!) and he did such an amazing job!! I can't wait to paint it!

It's Baby Season!

Ok, so before anyone freaks out about the title, let me just say that no, I'm NOT pregnant lol. But that doesn't mean that all my friends aren't. They are either giving birth or about to. This past Friday, I went to an old co-worker's baby shower. It was held at the BX (base exchange), where I used to work before having Liam. It was such a sweet shower to welcome baby Adam. I was happy to see all my old co-workers as well as my old supervisor. I've missed them all, but I wouldn't trade being a stay-at-home mom to my sweet boy for anything in the world =)

Then Saturday night, my girlfriends and I did a surprise baby shower for our friend Shaira. We had been planning it, along with the help of her husband, since the beginning of the month. I'm so glad that it turned out perfectly. She had no idea and when she walked in, she was so confused. lol. But overall, I think she had a good time.

I made her a "hospital survival kit."

Exciting News!!

My sweet little baby boy is WALKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WALKING YOU GUYS!!! I still can't believe it! I feel like we JUST took him home from the hospital yesterday and now he is walking at 10 months old! where has the time gone?!

He is still a little wobbly, but I think it's the cutest thing ever! ^_^ I love how he gets so excited when he's walking. Soon enough, he will be running around! I can't handle all this growing up he is doing!! he needs to slow down, but at the same time, I'm so excited and so proud of him for accomplishing such a big milestone!! Love his little butt so much!!!!!!!!!

Mother's Day Weekend!

Wow, I feel like I haven't blogged in forever! I will try to keep this updated at least once a week... but don't hold me to it >_<   lol

Anyways, as you all know, Mother's Day was this past weekend. It was my first Mother's Day =) And I couldn't have asked for a better one. My amazing husband & sweet baby boy spoiled me the whole weekend. Saturday, we spent the day shopping (although I ended up coming home with more stuff for them than me lol.) It makes me happy to see them happy though. And I don't know why, but I just couldn't find anything that I liked while out shopping. I might just have to try again this weekend ;)

Sunday, I woke up to some beautiful flowers, two of the sweetest cards (Jason even got Liam to scribble some stuff in the card he got for me ^_^ ) and he also bought me breakfast, & got me a cookie cake!! lol I loveeee cookie cakes!

Then we spent the morning working on my garden. I'm so excited about it. I got some free flowers from our Housing office on base at their annual flower giveaway. We still need to add some mulch and get some flowers for my pots, and then we'll be done & ready for summer =)

Afterwards, we got ready and went out to get some pho for lunch. Later that night, hubs cooked us a delicious steak dinner and some yummy chocolate mousse cake for dessert. We spent the evening playing with Liam and cuddling in bed. It was definitely a nice weekend. =) Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend as well! <3
