Tornado Season...

IS NOT MY FRIEND! >.<  

We're currently under a tornado watch right now, and it's suppose to get worse later on tonight =(

Hoping we don't get any tornados =/  Our base was hit by one about 3 years ago (Thank goodness we weren't here at the time), but I def. don't want to experience one anytime soon either! So glad that hubs is home with us and not at work. 

Spring Time!

It's finally warming up around here and finally feeling like Spring time!! =) I'm loving it! My flowers in my garden are starting to bloom, and they couldn't be anymore beautiful!

I decided this year I'm going to try to have more fresh flowers around the house. It just makes my day so much better to wake up and smell the fresh flowers, even on a gloomy day like today. =) I've been looking for a cute little tray to put in the middle of our new coffee table, and haven't had any luck until yesterday when I was out shopping with a friend. And the candle & cute little vase that I found ties it all together so well =) I'm loving them!

10 Months Old!!!

I still can't believe it! my sweet little baby just turned 10 months old yesterday! Where has the time gone?! He is growing way too fast =( He can stand up all by himself now!! I'm pretty certain he will start walking within the next couple of weeks, if not sooner.

We got him some new toys yesterday! We were going to wait and give them to him on his first birthday, but that's too far away and daddy's too impatient to wait lol. So we decided to let him have them last night.

He wasn't so sure about them at first. But he was loving the truck by the end of the night. Still not too sure about the buzz lightyear four wheeler lol but I'm sure he will love it once he gets a little bit older.

Easter Weekend!

We started our Easter weekend out by meeting up with my sweet friend Ashley (visit her blog here) for lunch on the River Market. Her birthday was on Easter and we had planned on doing a birthday dinner thing later that night but since her sweet family drove all the way from NC to surprise her for her birthday, we decided to reschedule it and just do lunch instead. =) 

Then we spent the afternoon fishing down at the lake =) Hubs gets so happy every chance he gets to go fishing lol. It was so cute watching him "teach" Liam how to fish (even though Liam had no clue what was going on)

Easter morning, my boys woke up to a nice surprise from the "Easter bunny" =) 

I got a nice surprise from the Easter bunny as well ;)

Then we got ready & went over to our friends' house for Easter dinner & a little easter egg hunt for the kiddos. Here are the men getting ready for the hunt! =D

Liam had a lot of funny "looking" for the eggs =D I can't wait till next Easter when he can really enjoy the hunt. But for now, mommy will help him =)

Whitney's Wedding

First off, I just wanna say congrats to Jason's beautiful cousin & her new husband on their beautiful wedding! I'm so happy that we were able to be there to share this beautiful day with you guys!! =)

As you know from my previous post, we were in Dallas that whole week prior to the wedding weekend enjoying the gorgeous city. That Friday, we checked out of our hotel and went to pick up my mother-in-law from the airport (she was arriving in Dallas from GA). Then we all went over to Jason's grandmother's house to see her and have lunch. It was so cute seeing Liam with his grandma & great grandma. =)

Before we went to lunch, we HAD to stop by and see the beauty Texas bluebonnets of course! you cannot visit Texas & NOT see them! =) They were gorgeous!! Wish I could've taken some home with me ;)

After lunch, we headed to our hotel where all the out of town wedding guests were staying. We were greeted with super cute little gift bags from the bride & groom.

Then we freshened up & headed to the rehearsal dinner.

WEDDING DAY!

The venue was absolutely beautiful!! and the decorations were gorgeous as well! They had a little "around the world" theme going on. The guestbook was a globe, and guests were to sign their name on it according to where they're from. So cute! 

This was the seating chart display. It says "Where in the world are you?" and each table is a different city from around the world. I think we were in Tokyo ;)
