Liam's First Birthday!

It's hard to believe this day is here... we officially have a 1 yr old on our hands! I can hardly remember what life was like before our sweet little boy was here. He is our whole entire world!!

One year ago today, I was awoken at 5am with the worse pains ever. I held it off until about 10:30 that morning. Then we decided to take a trip to the hospital to make sure everything was ok. We never imagined that we would be welcoming our sweet boy into the world that day (since I still had about 2 weeks left of my pregnancy). But little did we know, he was ready to make his grand entrance!! At 6lbs, 12oz, he had captured my heart the moment I heard his first cry. I will never forget that sound. It was the sweetest cry I've ever heard in my life, and it was one of the happiest moment in my life. 

It's crazy to think that a year has already flown by! Time flies when you're having fun I guess! =) 

Happy 1st birthday Liam!! You are the sweetest, handsomest, silliest, smartest, most fun little boy with the biggest personality ever!! You are your daddy's mini me. You have changed our lives for the better. Every day you amaze me with something new you've learned. You've grown so much and have learned so much these past 12 months. I never knew I could love someone so much until you came along. It's a love like no other. I can't wait to watch you grow more and more each day! Mommy & daddy loves you so very much!!

Liam's Bow Tie Bash!

My sweet little man had his first birthday party this past weekend! His theme was "Bow Tie Bash". His 1st birthday isn't until the 23rd of this month, but since we will be out of town then, I wanted to throw him a birthday party here with all our friends. Birthday boy was ready to party that day because he skipped his morning nap and was going strong throughout his whole party! Then he crashed for about 2 hours after everyone left lol.

I'm so thankful that the weather was nice and sunny the day of his party. It's been raining here for two weeks straight now and I was so afraid that it was going to storm at his party as well. But it held off until after everyone had gone home.

Photography!

I love photography! It's def. been a passion of mine for many years now. And I am so thankful that my sweet husband gifted me with my first DSLR camera this year so that I can annoy the crap out of him by taking lots and lots of pics every second of every day lol!! No, for real though, I am loving my new camera and I've been practicing with it every chance I get. A few weeks ago, I got the pleasure of shooting some pics for my friend's little baby girl who had just turned 1 year old! and some of her sweet newborn baby as well. =) Here are some previews of that shoot.
